In this edition, we’re chatting with CR Childers, Senior Vice President Product Management, who oversaw the updates and new features in the just-released Shopper’s Choice Dashboard, including benchmarking, which is front and center. 

He’s going to give you the download on all the things that have been improved upon, the new features that will give you a leg up, and what’s coming next. 

  • The Shopper’s Choice Dashboard got a visual facelift. Not an unrecognizable, scary kind that’s going to freak you out because it looks so different. Your go-to metrics are all still there, just on a more intuitive backdrop that makes it much easier to get a quick overview to digest your data. Starting June 25, it will be the default view, but you can toggle it on now and start embracing the new (which we highly recommend).

  • Your valuable topline attributes like carting rate and substitution rate are now front and center, so you can see the direct effects of our real-time stock status, thanks to MOE. (You won’t find this anywhere else.)

  • Benchmarking is now live! In this first phase, you can filter data to see your own performance either over time or comparing specific links against the SmartCommerce all-time carting rate. It’s also a quick, easy way to A/B test two different links. And this is just the beginning: With the next turn of the crank (coming late summer) comes category carting benchmarks and category insight benchmarks, where you’ll have the ability to filter by campaign, platform, and retailer for deeper insights.
